









Buttermilk Pancake & Waffle Mix
Start your day delicious with hearty buttermilk pancakes or waffles that taste like your best, buttery-est pancake breakfast memories. We craft them with stone-ground whole wheat flour and eight grams of plant-based protein, so they deliver the energy your family needs to get a running start you can feel good about. No artificial flavors, synthetic colors or preservatives and no hydrogenated oils.
What You'll Need

1 cup Buttermilk Pancake & Waffle Mix

2/3 cup 2% milk or water

Step 1:
Preheat griddle over medium-low heat.
Measure and level off pancake mix. (Do not pack.)

Step 2:
Place pancake mix in a medium bowl, gradually whisk in milk or water. If batter is too thick, gradually add 1 tablespoon milk or water at a time until you achieve the desired thickness. If batter is too thin, add 1-2 teaspoons of pancake mix.

Step 3:
Lightly oil griddle.
Pour slightly less than 1/4 cup batter onto hot griddle for each pancake.
Cook until light golden brown (about 2 minutes).
Flip pancakes over and cook until light golden brown on bottom (about 1 more minute).

Step 4:
Waffles
Preheat the waffle iron according to the manufacturer's directions. In a medium bowl, prepare batter by whisking 1 egg, then add 2 tablespoons melted butter and 2/3 cup milk or water, then 1 cup + 1 tablespoon pancake & waffle mix (whisk until smooth). Pour about 1/2 cup batter into the center of the waffle iron and cook until golden brown.
Makes 6 pancakes or 3 waffles.
For Richer Pancakes or Waffles:
Whisk 1 egg.
Add 2 tablespoons melted butter (whisk until blended).
Add 2/3 cup milk or water, then 1 cup + 1 tablespoon pancake & waffle mix (whisk until smooth).
Cook pancakes or waffles as directed above.
