Ingredients:
- 1 Package of Sticky Fingers Chocolate Chip Cookies
- 3 Tablespoons of Water or Other Liquid (See Below)
- 1 Pint of Ice Cream
Steps:
- Heat oven to 350
- Grease or line a baking sheet
- Mix the Sticky Fingers Chocolate Chip Cookie mix with water
- Form cookies into uniform size, and place on prepared baking sheet
- Bake cookies for 10-11 minutes (you want to slightly under bake cookies)
- Once cooked, allow the cookies to cool
- Place cookies in freezer for 30 minutes before assembling the sandwiches
- Remove cookies from the freezer, and assemble sandwiches
- Place completed sandwiches on a baking sheet, and freeze until solid
Fun Additions:
- Swap water in the cookie recipe for other liquid such as expresso for a mocha cookie
- Once you have formed your sandwich you can roll the sandwich in candy or sprinkles to add more flavor and texture
- Add any of the following to your cookie to add texture and flavor
- Peanut Butter or Nut Butter
- Candy i.e. M&M's, Heath Bar, Reese's, Candy Canes
- Other Cookies (Crushed) i.e. Oreo, Nut Butter
- Extract i.e. peppermint, vanilla, orange
- Marshmallows
- Chocolate
- Caramel
- Salt
Tips:
- Allow sandwiches to freeze solid before transferring to a freezer bag for storage
- You can store the sandwiches in a freezer bag for 2 months
- You can utilize an ice cream scoop to help portion out your cookie dough, to make sure they are of uniform size
