Ingredients for Scone:
- 1 Package with Sticky Fingers Sweet Scones
- 2/3 Cup + 1 Tablespoon Cold Water
Ingredient for Red Glaze:
- 2-3 Tablespoon Strawberry Puree
- 1 Cup Powdered Sugar
Ingredients for Blue Glaze:
- 2-3 Tablespoon Blueberry Puree (if you use wild blueberries the color will be more vibrant)
- 1 Cup Powdered Sugar
Ingredient for White Glaze:
- 2-3 Tablespoons Milk
- 1 Cup Powdered Sugar
Directions:
- Make scones per package instructions
- While scones are baking, you can make your glazes; by combining the glaze ingredients. Add as much liquid as needed to reach desired texture.
- Allow the scones to cool completely before adding your glaze.
How do I make the Strawberry or Blueberry Puree?
Add your 1 cup of fruit to either a blender or a food processor and blend until smooth. If you want a vibrant color you should use wild blueberries, as they have a higher pigment. To increase the pigment of the strawberry puree, you can add some beet food coloring. After you blend the puree, you can strain it for an even smoother texture.
What flavor of scones should I use?
We recommend using either the original scones or any fruit-flavored scone.
